So, with my hard works in photography it is finally paying off! I just came back a few days ago from visiting a gallery in almost in the middle of nowhere and met a photographer there. I got some information and in the spring, i might be able to put up and sell some of my photos!!! My dad also knows a photographer at his job who ethusiastically jumped at the notion of helping me. He's given me a whole bunch of info about contests and galleries accepting art. He's also trying to convince my dad into getting me this $400 macro camera-- Nikon D40X. It is a 10.2 megapixel (the D40 is only 6.1)with full options. It is a lightweight semi-pro camera that has a great 18-55mm lens option. Sounds great?

I don't have that kind of money. :[

He was saying how "oh don't you worry, every child gets what they want at christmas. I'll make sure he goes through with this one!" But I don't know. That's a lot of money. But my dad says, I got to spend a lot of money if I want to get serious about my photography... I have a $600 car insurance payment coming up (I dont even have my lisence yet!!) Maybe with my new job that I'm working 30hrs a week, I can save up...Who knows?

I'm hoping to enter in some local art fairs and sell my photos in large prints with higher pricing and smaller greeting cards for cheap. I just need to get my name out there. I've chosen "Live&Love Photography" as my name. I changed my portfolio domain to [link] I'm going to be updating it soon with newer photos. This is a start, but this photographer will be helping me soon with making my own website! I can't wait to kick this off!
